Door County Potter:

Renee' Schwaller's main body of work consists of functional, beautifully handcrafted pottery with playful designs. Her entire collection of work is created from start to finish in the studio at home, where she draws inspiration from her family and her surroundings: the things that bring her joy. Renee' also teaches at The Peninsula Art School and exhibits at numerous art shows across the state. Renee' has her B. A. in communications from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her studies in pottery began after working at The Potters Wheel Gallery in Fish Creek, WI. She studied pottery at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis and the University of Hawaii.
Renee' has exhibited her work at several juried and invitational shows throughout Wisconsin.
Accomplishments include the purchase of two large pieces for the permanent collection at Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College, Green Bay, WI., merit award at Art Street, honorable mention at The Hardy Gallery, Symbolic Images in Clay solo show at the Fairfield Art Center, featured artist in Door County Magazine, Wisconsin Trails and Door County Living, president of the Door County Potters' Guild, Black and White invitational show at the Peninsula Art School.
