About the Gallery/Studio

Off The Wheel Pottery is located one mile east of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, a quaint little village on the shores of the bay of Lake Michigan.  The gallery and studio are located on a century old farmstead Renee' and her husband have been renovating since 1996.  The gallery is housed in the granary, a timber framed building, which has been renovated by adding old windows, electricity, and a new face on a few of the walls.  The original beams are all exposed, some hand-hewn and some have kept their bark.  The building is very rustic, being kept as authentic as possible.  This is where you can enjoy pottery by resident artist Renee' Schwaller  and work by several other regional artists.

The new studio, built in 2005/2006, is adjacent to the gallery and connected by a courtyard in the back.  This is where people can watch Renee' make pots, as well as view a display area for jewelry.

Heading North on Hwy 42, after entering the village of Egg Harbor, take a right on County E. (at the Trio Restaurant).  We are 1.5 miles down on the North side of the road (one house East of the Stonehedge Golfcourse, on the same side of the road).
